The choice for this team’s players was based on the analysis made in the position guides. To understand why we picked player A instead of player B, please take a look at those guides.
On the goal, Oblak is our favourite. No other goalkeeper is as good as he is with his hands. Sergio Ramos and Varane are the obvious choices to the centre of the defence. The French player is much faster and has better work rates, but his teammate is also a solid defender. Both fullbacks, Carvajal and Ferland Mendy, are fast and give enough support to the attack and to the defence.
In the midfield, Casemiro is perfect to close the ways to his goal. Ahead of him, De Jong helps the attack playing as CAM. However, this is not the position where you will see him play at his best. His shoot is not good enough and he defends better than it is supposed. If you are not comfortable seeing him there, you can change the formation or replace him with someone more focused on the attack, like Luka Modrić. In a formation with two CMs, Casemiro and De Jong will make a really strong partnership.
LaLiga has the best wingers: Messi on the right and Hazard on the left. They are so good, that it would be a waste of time having to explain why we have selected them.
Luis Suárez and Griezmann are responsible to score and with their quality they will score loads of goals for sure. If you need more pace on the attack, you can replace Suárez with William but be warned that the Uruguayn striker scores more goals and assists more often than Iñaki.
Once all players have reached maximum individual chemistry via loyalty (achieved by each player after 10 matches for your club or by being pack pulled), you can go without a manager for your squad. They’ll be of no use while wasting contracts.

Building a team is the biggest challenge in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team. It doesn’t need to be the best team, since the budget may not allow it, but it needs to be a team designed for your style and needs.
When choosing which players to play with, you will have to look carefully at their attributes. Choosing a team based on ratings is one of the most common mistakes. For each position, and focusing on the truly important attributes, we’ll show you who are the best players to choose.
It’s also important to check if the player you choose fits the formations you like to play in. For example, a good full-back will be useless if the player only uses a formation with three defenders.
Last but not least, you should try to get the maximum chemistry possible. Most of the players base their squads on a single league or nation, but the most experienced ones are able to build hybrid teams without hurting chemistry.

No other league has as good players as the main football competition in Spain. The qualification for the champion is made through the points system.
