Every single month, EA Sports makes a selection of the most in-form Ligue 1 players of the previous month. The award was introduced for the first time ever in FIFA 20, in a partnership with UNFP, RTL and L’Équipe. In the first stage of the selection process, the three Ligue 1 players with the best individual performance data are identified. The POTM shortlist is compiled according to around 20 criteria. Winners are then chosen by the team captains of the public (50% vote share) and by professional players (50%). The winner receives a FIFA 21 Ligue 1 Player of the Month item, with boosted stats, which is made available via SBC. Click or tap on a player to see his item.
